Yesss!! Now I can officially stay here for another few months!
It seems that the process this time was much easier. The National AIDS Council wrote a letter to the Immigration office, asking for the extension of my permit :) and I guess this carried a lot more weight than just an application would. I had to wait for several months to get my initial work permit issued last year, and this time around it was processed in less than 2 weeks.
I'm looking forward to spending more time in Zimbabwe, ensuring my project is successful and fully sustainable, and hopefully seeing more of the country as well.
