I'm dreaming of a white (sand) Christmas…

This will be my first Christmas away from my family… it will also be the first I'll spend on the beach! I'll be in Tofo, Mozambique for Christmas and Vilanculos (a short trip north) for New Years - two of the best beach towns in the country. 

Cam and I will be leaving a little earlier than everyone else - we plan on taking the trip to Tofo tomorrow (December 20th). The others will join us on the 24th.

Cam (my roommate) goes diving every chance he gets and it seems there will be plenty of opportunities to do that in both Tofo and Vilanculos. In fact they are some of the best places for this in the world, and there are (harmless) whale sharks that you can swim with… hmmm, tempting. I may give this diving business a try.

Also, it's unlikely that I'll be able to blog while I'm away, so I'd like to wish you all happy holidays! Stay warm and be well.
